Darin Hammers was appointed to the Board of Directors and has served as President and CEO of Cogentix Medical since July 2016. Previously Mr. Hammers was interim President and Chief Executive Officer since May 2016, and Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing since August 2013. Mr. Hammers joined Cogentix Medical predecessor company Uroplasty as Vice President of Global Sales in January 2013.

Mr. Hammers’ experience includes over 25 years of increasing leadership roles in urology sales. Prior to joining Uroplasty, Mr. Hammers was Vice President of Sales for Bard Medical Division of C.R. Bard based in Covington, GA, focused on Urology care products. Prior to that, Mr. Hammers spent more than 12 years with Boston Scientific in various sales leadership positions in the Urology/Gynecology areas. Mr. Hammers holds a BS in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana and an MBA from Emory University.

Brett Reynolds’ experience spans more than 20 years in finance and operations. He joined Uroplasty in 2013, which was merged into Cogentix Medical in 2015. Mr. Reynolds came to the Company after serving in various senior positions over a span of ten years, including Chief Financial Officer, with Synovis Life Technologies, a publicly traded Twin Cities based medical device manufacturer acquired by Baxter International in 2012. Prior to Synovis, he served in executive financial positions at Chiquita Processed Foods and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Reynolds is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Brian Brown joined Cogentix Medical in November 2016 as the Senior Vice President of R&D and Operations. Before joining Cogentix Medical, Mr. Brown spent 24 years in R&D at Boston Scientific/SciMed including 10 years as Global Vice President of R&D for Cardiovascular where he directed research and development activities for implantable stents, drug delivery technologies, disposable catheters and adjunctive devices. Most recently, Mr. Brown served as Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations for Sunshine Heart.

Ash Keswani joined Cogentix Medical as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development in April 2017. With more than two decades in the medical industry, Mr. Keswani’s experience spans across disposables and implantable devices in the fields of Urology, Gynecology and Cardiac Surgery. During the course of his career, Mr. Keswani has been an integral part of the acquisition, distribution and launch of dozens of products, primarily to the urology and gynecology markets. Most recently, Mr. Keswani served as President of Urologix, the urology company that developed the market for in-office BPH therapy. He has also held senior-level marketing positions at Pfizer-American Medical Systems, Medtronic, Coloplast and Nonin Medical. Mr. Keswani received his B.A. from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.

Chris Arnold, Vice President of Global Sales, joined Cogentix Medical in 2015. Mr. Arnold has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry including various senior leadership positions at Boston Scientific, Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, and Greatbatch Medical. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Centenary College of Louisiana.

Dan Merz is currently the Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs. He joined the company in April 2014 as the Vice President of Reimbursement and has since held various leadership positions across the company. Mr. Merz has nearly 20 years medical device experience at various levels of management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northwestern University in Biomedical Engineering.
